Classic Holden behaving badly

Post by Joe » Tue Mar 14, 2006 7:45 pm

Hey there, just wondering if anyone out there knows anything about how I can get my 1970 Holden HT running smooth. It has a real bad misfire under load and sometimes stalls when stationary. The strange thing is, it is irratic and seems to be worse in hot conditions.
If anybody could point me in the right direction I would be most graeful as I'm not that experienced with having ti fix cars, but am keen to learn.
Cheers

Try checking the condenser and/or coil. Good luck.

Hey thanks for that. Have since replaced most of the ignition and it has made a marked improvement.

On to the fuel system now...
