In the interest of making our cars safer We spent a year developing and testing a new type of brake floater initially we did them for 32 to 34 v8s but they also fit Models As the Backing plates are the same .We did before and after tests on a brake machine with the Local model A Club the fronts were 120 and 90 after fitting they went to 190 on both .The rears went from under 200 to 240 ,This with out settling in and final adjustments, we have yet do do tests on pressed steel drums we expect a marked improvment, and may eliminat the need to change to exspensive cast drums. They are listed on ebay site, add number 4582239789 Ford Model A brake energiser.
